We are closely monitoring current scientific information regarding COVID 19 and guidelines regarding patient care. We are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our patients, employees and providers. We are updating our policies frequently to reflect current scientific guidelines.
We continue to be available for our patients as a resource to help navigate your health. We are open during normal business hours and currently offer in office visits and Telehealth appointment services covered by most insurance plans.
Following Illinois state mandate, it is required that anyone entering our building wear a facial covering or mask over their mouth and nose during their entire stay. In addition, depending on your travel history, you will be asked to stay home for a period of 14 days from the time you left an area with widespread or ongoing community spread. If you have questions, you can call our office; we may request that you schedule a later appointment or a telemedicine visit. We will be updating our policies often following Illinois state mandate and the CDC’s recommendations. We greatly appreciate your understanding at this time and assure you that these policies are for your safety, the safety of others and of our staff. Only 1 person (patient) is allowed in an exam room; if a child is being seen, only 1 guardian is allowed with patient in exam room.
We have taken multiple steps to ensure health and safety. We have implemented social distancing, enforce mask wearing per state mandate, require anyone with a cough, sore throat, fever, aches, and respiratory symptoms DO NOT come in to our office directly but call first, we are able to screen and treat numerous issues via telemedicine. We are disinfecting each room thoroughly between uses and rotating exam rooms between patients to decrease traffic, have plexiglass barriers and multiple hand sanitizing stations. If you are experiencing ongoing symptoms, or to continue management of chronic conditions, telemedicine services can screen and address a variety of issues and determine the most appropriate direction for the continuation of medical care.
Your family practice provider is the front line in determining next steps for care appropriate for your condition. Call us at 847-356-9300 to schedule appointment with one of our providers.
Current patients may refer to doctorsrxs.com, the on-site independent pharmacy at LFP for prescription supply and information. DrsRx offers curbside pick up as well as free home delivery for those in need of that service, as well as many other conveniences; contact them directly for more information.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation at this time.
